Overview

If you’ve closed a bank account or moved to a different bank and want to keep your

transaction history in Quicken Simplifi, you can mark the account as closed.

This automatically disconnects it from the bank, resets the balance to $0, and keeps all historical transactions. The account will stay in your Accounts List, but will no longer update, and you will not be able to enter manual transactions either.

Note: Once you mark an account as closed in Quicken Simplifi, or if you close all accounts with a single financial institution, you cannot reopen it later.

Marking an Account as Closed

Closing one account will not affect your other accounts at the same bank—they will keep working and downloading transactions.

  2. Tap Settings, then Accounts.

  3. Find the account you want to close and tap the three dots next to it.

  4. Tap Mark as closed.

  5. Tap Confirm.

  2. Tap Settings, then Accounts.
