Overview
Adding your accounts is an important first step to getting the most out of Quicken Simplifi. By connecting your bank, credit card, loan, and other accounts, Simplifi can automatically track your spending, monitor upcoming bills, calculate your net worth, and give you a clearer view of your finances.
Quicken Simplifi connects to more than 14,000 financial institutions. If your account can't be connected, you can add it manually and still track the value of assets such as property or investments.
Whether you’re adding a connected or manual account, follow the steps below to get started.

Add a Connected Account
Connect your account to automatically download transactions and update balances.
Tap the Menu (three-line icon), then select Accounts.
Tap the +New button in the upper-right corner.
Select your financial institution or search for it by name.
Review the consent message and tap Continue.
Enter the user ID and password you use to sign in to your financial institution, then tap Link Account.
Review the accounts found and select the ones you want to add. You can also edit the account name or type if needed.
Tap Confirm.
Once connected, Quicken Simplifi will typically download the last 90 days of transactions, and the account will appear in your Accounts List.
Add a Manual Account
If your financial institution isn't available to connect, you can add the account manually to track it in Quicken Simplifi.
Tap the Menu (three-line icon), then select Accounts.
Tap the +New button in the upper-right corner.
Select Add account at the bottom of the screen.
Enter the account name and select the account type. Depending on the account type, you may also be asked to enter details such as the current balance, value, or as-of date.
Tap Confirm.
The manual account will appear in your Accounts List. Since it isn't connected to a financial institution, no transactions will be downloaded automatically. You can add transactions manually as needed.

Note: To learn how to update your bank login information, see the Updating Your Bank Login Information support article.
