Overview

This article covers the steps you can take if you're having trouble signing in to Quicken Simplifi.

When signing in to Quicken Simplifi, be sure to use your Quicken ID and password. The same credentials are used for the Web App, Mobile App, and your online account at myaccount.quicken.com.

Note: Please click here for more details on signing up for Quicken Simplifi.

Before Troubleshooting

Avoid making multiple sign-in attempts, as this may result in a temporary account lockout.

Before troubleshooting, make sure you're using the correct sign-in credentials. Your Quicken ID is the email address associated with your account. If you have multiple email addresses, verify that you're using the one linked to your Quicken ID. If you don't remember your Quicken ID, click Forgot your Quicken ID? on the sign-in page and follow the prompts.

Next, verify that you're entering the correct password. Select the eye icon in the password field to reveal your password and check for any typing errors. If you're unsure of your password, you can reset it by clicking here.

Note: Make sure you're signing in with the same email address you used when you purchased your Quicken subscription.

Verify Your Quicken Subscription

If you're unable to sign in, it's possible that you purchased a different Quicken product than intended. For example, you may have purchased Quicken Classic instead of Quicken Simplifi, or vice versa. To verify which subscription you have, follow these steps:

  1. Sign in using the email address and password associated with your Quicken purchase.

  2. Locate the Subscriptions section.

Next Steps:

Passwordless Login

Quicken Simplifi can send a passwordless sign-in link to your email if you’ve forgotten your password. This link allows you to access your account without entering a password.

  1. Enter your Quicken ID on the Quicken Simplifi sign-in page and click Continue.

  2. Click "click for a passwordless email link" above the password field.

  3. Check your inbox for an email from Quicken containing a blue Sign in button.

  4. Click the Sign in button to access Quicken Simplifi. If the button doesn't work, you can copy and paste the sign-in link into your web browser.

Issues with the 6-Digit Code?

In some cases, you'll be asked to enter a 6-digit verification code sent to your email or mobile phone as part of the sign-in process. If you're having trouble receiving or using the code, try the following steps:

  • Make sure you keep the sign-in window open while waiting for your verification code. Closing the window may invalidate the sign-in attempt.

  • Avoid requesting multiple verification codes. Each time a new code is sent, any previously issued code becomes invalid.

  • Use the verification code as soon as you receive it, as it expires after a short time.

  • If needed, you can select Email me the code instead or Text me the code instead to receive the verification code using a different delivery method.

  • If the phone number on your account is a landline and can't receive text messages, select Call me with a code instead to receive the verification code by phone call.

Note: If you're having trouble receiving a verification code by text message, click here and follow the troubleshooting steps provided.

Still facing sign-in problems?

If you've tried the steps above and still can't sign in to Quicken Simplifi, here are a few additional things to check:

  1. If you're using a VPN or proxy, try disabling it and then sign in to Quicken Simplifi again.

Note: Quicken Simplifi does not currently support Apple iCloud Private Relay. If it's enabled, turn it off before attempting to sign in.

  2. Check whether your browser has privacy or security extensions—such as DuckDuckGo or Ghostery—that may be blocking Quicken Simplifi. If so, temporarily disable them and try signing in again.

  3. If you're traveling outside the United States, you may experience issues signing in to Quicken Simplifi until you return to the U.S.

If you're still unable to sign in to Quicken Simplifi, wait at least four hours before trying again. During that time, avoid switching between multiple devices or browsers, or repeatedly changing your password, as this may prolong the issue. If you're still unable to sign in after four hours, please contact our support team for assistance.
