Overview
Quicken Simplifi makes it easy to keep your transactions organized. Transaction Rules automatically apply your preferred changes to matching transactions, helping keep your records consistent with less manual work.
Transaction Rules let Quicken Simplifi automatically identify incoming transactions based on specific or broad “If” conditions, such as the payee or amount, and then apply “Then” actions, such as renaming the payee, updating the category, or adding a tag.
Example: You can create a rule that looks for the keywords "wal" and "mart" in the payee name, renames the payee to "Walmart", and assigns the Groceries category. After the rule is created, any matching transaction will automatically be renamed to Walmart and categorized as Groceries.
Note: Transaction Rules don’t apply to transfer transactions, balance adjustments, recurring transactions, or manually entered transactions.
