Overview

Quicken Simplifi does not offer a feature to reset all data. To start over, you’ll need to delete each account or bank connection individually. Once all accounts are deleted, you can begin again from scratch.

How to Delete Your Accounts

  1. Hover over the left side panel and click Settings.

  2. Click Accounts.

  3. Locate the bank that you want to delete and click the three dots at the end of it.

  4. Click Delete institution, then Delete to confirm.

After deleting all of your accounts, your Spending Plan will be blank. Historical data and recurring reminders will no longer be available.

Your created categories and tags will remain. Click here for steps to delete a category or subcategory, or click here for steps to delete a tag.

After deleting all of your accounts, your Dashboard will be blank. You can re-add accounts by clicking the + Add icon next to Accounts on the Dashboard.

Need to Completely Remove Your Data?

If you’d like your entire Quicken Simplifi dataset deleted, which will delete all of the data you've input into the program, please reach out to our Support Team. They can perform a full dataset deletion so you can start fresh.

A full dataset deletion will remove all accounts, transactions, Recurring Series, Watchlists, Savings Goals, Spending Plan data, and any other information stored within Quicken Simplifi. Once this is completed, you’ll be guided back through the Getting Started Flow the next time you sign in.

Want All of Your Data Removed From Quicken's Systems?

If you want all of your data permanently removed from Quicken’s systems—not just your Quicken Simplifi dataset—you can submit a request through our CCPA process. The CCPA request form can be found here. (Note: CCPA deletion requests can be submitted by residents of any state, not just California.)

A CCPA delete will remove all online data associated with your Quicken ID, including anything synced to the cloud. It also deletes your user profile and your subscription records. Afterward:

  • Quicken Simplifi will no longer be usable

  • The deleted Quicken ID cannot be used to start a new subscription

  • All information will be permanently unrecoverable

Because of this, please ensure you no longer plan to use any Quicken products before submitting a CCPA delete request.
