Overview
Quicken Simplifi automatically assigns categories to downloaded transactions. However, you may need to change a category to better reflect the transaction or use a custom category you've created. Recategorizing is quick and easy using the mobile app.
Recategorizing Using the Swipe Feature:
You can easily recategorize your transactions by swiping to the left on the transaction!
Recategorizing From the All Transactions Page:
- Tap the Menu icon (the three lines in the upper left corner). 
- Select Transactions. 
- Locate the transaction that you'd like to recategorize and tap on it. 
- Tap the Category field and scroll through the Category List, or use the search bar to locate the correct Category. 
- Select the correct Category. 
- Tap Update at the bottom of the screen. 
Recategorizing From the Accounts Page:
- Tap the Menu icon (the three lines in the upper left corner). 
- Select Accounts. 
- Locate the account that has the transaction you'd like to recategorize and click on it. 
- Locate the transaction that you'd like to recategorize and tap on it. 
- Tap the Category field and scroll through the Category List, or use the search bar to locate the correct Category. 
- Select the correct Category. 
- Tap Update at the bottom of the screen.
