Overview
Quicken Simplifi automatically assigns categories to downloaded transactions. However, you may need to change a category to better reflect the transaction or use a custom category you've created. Recategorizing is quick and easy using the mobile app.
Recategorizing Using the Swipe Feature:
You can easily recategorize your transactions by swiping to the left on the transaction!
Recategorizing From the All Transactions Page:
Tap the Menu icon (the three lines in the upper left corner).
Select Transactions.
Locate the transaction that you'd like to recategorize and tap on it.
Tap the Category field and scroll through the Category List, or use the search bar to locate the correct Category.
Select the correct Category.
Tap Update at the bottom of the screen.
Recategorizing From the Accounts Page:
Tap the Menu icon (the three lines in the upper left corner).
Select Accounts.
Locate the account that has the transaction you'd like to recategorize and click on it.
Locate the transaction that you'd like to recategorize and tap on it.
Tap the Category field and scroll through the Category List, or use the search bar to locate the correct Category.
Select the correct Category.
Tap Update at the bottom of the screen.
