Overview
When you download transactions from your bank, Quicken Simplifi will try its best to choose the correct Category. However, there may be times when you need to change the Category to match what the transaction is, or you may want to change it to a Category that you've created. Recategorizing your transactions is simple, and can be done with just a swipe on your mobile device!

Recategorizing Using the Swipe Feature:
You can easily recategorize your transactions by swiping to the left!
Recategorizing From the All Transactions Page:
Click the Menu icon (the three lines in the upper left corner).
Select All Transactions.
Locate the transaction that you'd like to recategorize and click on it.
Click the Category field and scroll through the Category List, or use the search bar to locate the correct Category.
Select the correct Category, then click Apply.
Click Save in the upper right corner.
Recategorizing From the Accounts Page:
Click the Menu icon (the three lines in the upper left corner).
Select Accounts.
Locate the account that has the transaction you'd like to recategorize and click on it.
Locate the transaction that you'd like to recategorize and click on it.
Click the Category field and scroll through the Category List, or use the search bar to locate the correct Category.
Select the correct Category, then click Apply.
Click Save in the upper right corner.
