Overview
Are you missing transactions in your Quicken Simplifi accounts that you can see on your bank’s website, but can’t seem to figure out what happened to them? Not to worry, let’s go through the most common reasons users report missing transactions and how to fix them!
First, check whether the sort order on your Transaction Activity has changed
It's possible that your Transaction Activity sort order was changed due to reviewing transactions or in error.
For example, if you sort the register by Category, your transactions will be grouped by category instead of by date, which can hide your most recently downloaded transactions.
Instructions for Web:
From the Transaction Activity screen, click the column header Date.
To display your most recent transactions at the top of your Transaction Activity, ensure the Date column header shows a downward arrow next to it.
Note: To display your oldest transactions at the top of your Transaction Activity, click the Date column header again so the arrow next to it points upwards.

Tap Reset to restore the default sort order.
Note: Clicking Reset will also clear any filter selections, so if you'd like to just restore the default sort order, you can select to sort by Pending to Cleared instead.

Was your transaction incorrectly matched?
One of Quicken Simplifi’s key features is the ability to recognize and match a downloaded transaction to a manually entered transaction or a recurring transaction. Sometimes, a transaction can be matched incorrectly, which can make it seem like the transaction is missing.
If you think this happened, manually enter the missing transaction to correct your Transaction Activity.
Was your transaction recently deleted in error?
Once a transaction has been downloaded from your bank, it will not be downloaded again. This means that if you download a transaction and later delete it in error, running another update will not replace the deleted transaction.
If this occurs, manually enter a new transaction with identical information to ensure your records are correct and complete.
Are you missing a transaction from a previous year?
To improve performance, your transactions will default back to just a few years. If you would like to see older transactions.
Instructions for Web:
Hover over and click the ⚙️ gear icon in the upper left of the Transaction Activity view.
Note: Users with Early Access enabled: Your Transactions view may look different. For more details, click here.
Are the missing transactions older than 90 days?
If this is your first time downloading transactions for an account, it’s important to know that banks limit how much data you can download into Quicken Simplifi.
Most banks allow you to download about 90 days of data per account.
If your missing transactions are more than three months old, they won’t download automatically into Quicken Simplifi.
Are the missing transactions still pending with the bank?
You may see pending transactions on your bank’s website that haven’t downloaded into Quicken Simplifi yet. Depending on the bank, pending transactions can appear right away, take a few days, or only show up once they’re fully cleared.
This is especially common over weekends. If you’re missing a recent transaction, we recommend waiting a day to see if the pending transaction downloads.
The following banks do not allow pending transactions to be downloaded into Quicken Simplifi:
Capital One
USAA
