Overview
By design, Quicken Simplifi treats transfers—including credit card payments—as neither income nor expense, so they’re excluded from the Reports by default. This is because moving money between accounts doesn’t change your net worth. However, you can choose to include transfers in your Reports if needed.

How Does It Work?
Transfers—whether recurring or one-time—are transactions that use a Transfer category (like Credit Card Payment) or move money between your accounts (linked transfers). By default, these are excluded from Reports; when excluded, they still appear in the Reports section but are grayed out and don’t affect the totals.
Note: In its current design, positive transfers are treated as income, while negative transfers are treated as expenses.
Include transfers in Reports
You can also choose to include recurring transfers and transfer transactions in Reports. For linked transfers—where both sides appear in Quicken Simplifi (money moving out of one account and into another)—you can include just one side in the report, giving you flexible control over how transfers are reflected.
Include a Transfer Transaction
Hover over the left panel and click Transactions.
Locate the Transfer Transaction you'd like to include in the Report, hover over it, and then click the three-dot icon at the end of it.
In the Exclude from section, click Report to clear the check mark next to it.
Note: To include both sides of a linked transfer in Reports, repeat the same steps for the other side of the transfer.
Include a Recurring Transfer Series
Move your cursor to the top right and click Settings (gear icon).
Select All Recurring.
Locate the Recurring Transfer Series you'd like to include in the Report and click the three-dot icon at the end of it.
Select Edit series.
At the bottom right, in the Exclude from section, uncheck the box next to Report.
Click Update.
Note: For recurring linked transfers, you can choose to include either or both sides of the transfer: the Money Out side (linked to the Select Account field in the recurring series setup) and the Money In side (linked to the Category field).
