Overview
By default, Quicken Simplifi updates your connected accounts each time you sign in. While this helps keep your financial data up to date, it may also trigger multi-factor authentication (MFA) requests more frequently.
If you'd like to reduce these prompts or control when your accounts update, you can customize your sync frequency. Choose to sync daily, weekly, monthly, or only when you manually refresh your accounts.
Note: Updating these settings applies to the entire bank and cannot be set for individual accounts.
Managing Your Connection Updates
To manage when your bank updates in Quicken Simplifi:
Tap the Menu (three-line) icon.
Tap Settings.
Tap Accounts.
Find the financial institution you want to update and tap the three-dot menu next to it.
Tap Manage Updates.
In the Set Max Update Interval screen, select your preferred update frequency: Always, Daily, Weekly, Monthly, or Never.
Tap Save Updates.
After you update the sync frequency for a financial institution, an update interval icon will appear in the upper-right corner of each associated account.
If you want to update your accounts before the scheduled sync time, tap the Refresh icon in the upper-right corner of the Dashboard.
Note: You can also pull down on the Dashboard to refresh all of your connected accounts.
