Overview
Since both Business and Personal transactions can be recorded within the same account, it can be difficult to sort through and figure out what transaction is what. With Quicken Business & Personal, the filter feature makes it easy to separate Business from Personal transactions!
Separating Business and Personal transactions
As long as all of your transactions are properly categorized with either a Personal or Business category or subcategory, the filter tool can make it easy to display only transactions from either category in the Transaction Activity window.
Select the applicable account from the Account list on the Dashboard.
In the upper right of the Transaction Activity window, click the Filter icon to open the filter menu.
Check the box next to either Business or Personal.
Note: You can click the small arrow next to the parent categories to expand the subcategories for selection.
Click Apply to filter the transactions in the Transaction Activity to only the categories selected.
You can clear the selected filters by clicking on the small X symbol on the Filters icon.
