Overview
Quicken Simplifi integrates with Zillow to help you track the estimated value of your real estate. Once you link a property to Zillow, its estimated market value will be reflected in your account balance. You can refresh the value periodically or switch to manual tracking if you prefer to manage it yourself.
Linking Real Estate Accounts to Zillow
When you link your real estate account to Zillow, Quicken Simplifi updates the account balance to reflect the property's current Zillow value. You can then manually adjust the value as needed.
Add a New Account with Zillow
Tap the Menu icon (three lines).
Select Accounts.
Tap + New in the upper-right corner.
Select Track asset, then select Real Estate.
Enter the property address and select the correct property from the dropdown list.
Review the estimated property value, then tap Continue.
Confirm the account details, such as Account Name and Account Purpose, or link the property to an existing account.
Tap Confirm.
Link an Existing Account to Zillow
If you already have a real estate account in Quicken Simplifi that isn't linked to Zillow, you can link it by following these steps:
Tap the Menu icon (three lines).
Select Accounts.
Select the real estate account you want to link to Zillow.
Tap Link to Zillow at the top of the screen.
Enter the property address and select the correct property from the dropdown list.
Review the estimated property value, then tap Continue.
Make sure the correct account appears in the Link to field.
Tap Confirm.
Update the Value of your Zillow Account
You can manually refresh your Zillow account value to check for updates. When you refresh a property, any other accounts linked to Zillow will also be updated automatically.
If the property value hasn't changed, Quicken Simplifi will notify you that the market value remains the same and no adjustments were made.
Tap the Menu icon (three lines).
Select Accounts.
Select the real estate account you want to update.
Tap the interactive timestamp "↻ Last updated" at the top to check for available updates.
Note: You can manually refresh your Zillow account value once every 7 days. Quicken Simplifi also automatically refreshes the value every 30 days.
Unlink an Account from Zillow
If you prefer to track your property's value manually instead of using Zillow, you can unlink the account.
Tap the Menu icon (three lines).
Select Settings, then Accounts.
Locate the account you want to unlink from Zillow and tap the three-dot icon next to it.
Select Make manual.
Tap Make Manual to confirm.
After unlinking the account, it will appear under Manual Accounts and retain its current balance. You'll need to maintain the account balance manually by adding balance adjustment transactions.
