Overview
With the Investing Performance Over Time feature, you can easily track the TWR (time-weighted rate of return) and the IRR (internal rate of return) for your investments! TWR measures the compounded rate of return for your investments over time and does not take cash moving in and out of the account into consideration. IRR measures the return between two dates and does take cash moving in and out of the account into consideration.
Note: Performance values depend on the successful aggregation of your accounts and holdings, as well as the accuracy of your Investment Transactions.
Using Performance Over Time
You can access the Investing Performance Over Time feature by selecting the Menu icon (three lines in the upper left corner), selecting Investments, and then selecting the Performance tab.
You can filter the Performance tab to individual accounts, or you can view 'All accounts'. You can also filter to a specific time range anywhere between the last 30 days up to a custom range of your choosing.
To the upper left of the graph, you'll see the option to view TWR or IRR, and you'll also see that TWR has a couple of different viewing options for the graph in the upper right. You can also select any of the accounts listed below the graph for a drill down of your holdings.
Note: If you see an Insufficient data message, this means that the selected Date Range has no data or not enough data to provide you with performance stats.
