Before you begin: Deleting an account cannot be undone.

Overview

Need to clean up your account list? We’ve got you covered! Here’s how to delete accounts safely and easily.

If you're having connectivity issues, we have alternative solutions. Please check out our support article on Top Bank Download Solutions, or contact our support team!

Keeping your Quicken Simplifi accounts list accurate and up-to-date is important. However, please note that deleting bank accounts will also permanently remove their transaction history and any associated Recurring Transactions from Quicken Simplifi.

We encourage you to export and save your Transaction Activity before following the steps below, just in case you need to reference it down the line. To learn more about exporting transactions, please refer to our article on How to Export Transactions from Quicken Simplifi.

Delete a Single Account (Including Manual Accounts)

  1. Hover over the left panel and click Settings.

  2. Select Accounts.

  3. Locate the account you want to delete and click the three-dot icon at the end of it.

  4. Click Delete account, then click Delete again to confirm.

Note: Manual accounts can only be deleted one at a time. If you're trying to remove multiple manual accounts, you'll need to repeat these steps for each one.

Delete All Accounts at One Financial Institution (Bank)

  1. Hover over the left panel and click Settings.

  2. Select Accounts.

  3. Locate the bank you want to delete and click the three-dot icon at the end of it.

  4. Click Delete institution, then click Delete again to confirm.
