Overview
If an account you usually see under the same login ID is missing or Quicken Simplifi is no longer finding a connected account, there are a few troubleshooting steps you can try before contacting support.
Before Troubleshooting
Before troubleshooting, check for any open alerts or product issues related to your financial institution.
If an active alert applies to the issue you're experiencing, follow the steps provided in the alert.
Troubleshooting
If an account is not showing in the list of accounts found by Quicken Simplifi, it could indicate a few different things.
Wrong Bank Presence Selected
Some financial institutions offer accounts through external partner services. These are considered external accounts.
You may be able to view all your accounts under one bank login, but selecting an external account may redirect you to a different website to view its details.
Check whether you're redirected to a different website or URL when you select the missing account.
If so, use that alternative URL to search for the correct financial institution in Quicken Simplifi and connect your account.
Unsupported Account Type
The account you're trying to connect may not be supported by the financial institution connection currently available in Quicken Simplifi.
Some investment institutions only support Direct Connect for linking accounts to third-party applications.
Since Quicken Simplifi does not support Direct Connect, you won't be able to connect accounts that require this connection method.
If you're sure you've selected the correct financial institution and your account type is supported, the issue may be related to a connection script. In this case, contact support for further assistance.
