Using the Net Worth Feature

Overview

The Net Worth feature provides a clear view of your overall financial position by combining your assets and liabilities into a single view. It helps you monitor changes in your net worth over time and understand how individual accounts contribute to those changes.

Note: Net Worth tracking begins from the time you start using Quicken Simplifi or from when an account is first added. Historical data from before that time is not included.

Note: The Net Worth feature is currently only available in Early Access.


Accessing the Net Worth Feature

You can access the Net Worth feature in a few different ways, depending on where you’re using Quicken Simplifi:

  • Web App: Hover over the left panel and select Net Worth.

  • Mobile App: Tap the menu (three lines) icon in the upper-right corner, then select Net Worth.

  • Dashboard: You can also view and access the Net Worth feature directly from the Net Worth tile on your Dashboard.


Net Worth Feature Attributes

The Net Worth feature includes the following attributes and views:

Net Worth Over Time

  • Displays your net worth across preset time ranges, including 1M, 3M, 6M, 1Y, 5Y, QTD, YTD, and All

  • Data points are shown by day or by month, depending on the selected time range

Account Inclusion

  • Allows you to customize which accounts are included in the Net Worth calculation

  • Only selected accounts contribute to the totals shown in the graph and summary values

Graph Views

  • View your data as Total Net Worth or Assets vs. Debt

  • The graph visually represents Assets, Debt, and Net Worth for each period shown

Viewing Preferences

  • Option to hide cents

  • Ability to scale the graph starting at $0 or use a zoomed view

  • Option to collapse or expand the graph

Account Changes

  • Displays the dollar and percentage change for each included account below the graph for the selected time range

Debt to Asset Ratio

  • Displays a Debt to Asset Ratio on the right side, providing insight into how your liabilities compare to your assets

Asset and Debt Breakdown

  • Provides a breakdown of your Assets and Debt

  • Breakdown can be viewed by dollar amount or percentage
