Using Privacy Mode

Overview

Want to show Quicken Simplifi to someone—like highlighting a helpful feature or your progress toward a goal—without revealing private details? Privacy Mode makes that easy!

Privacy Mode hides sensitive information such as account balances, transaction amounts, net worth, and your credit score. It applies across all of Quicken Simplifi, including the Spending Plan, Watchlists, Savings Goals, Reports, as well as any net worth–related achievement badges.

Note: Privacy Mode is currently only available on the Web App with Early Access enabled. It will be available on the Mobile App soon!


How to Enable Privacy Mode

You can turn on Privacy Mode from the Settings menu. When enabled, a banner will appear to indicate that Privacy Mode is active.

Enable Privacy Mode on the Web App

  1. Hover over the left panel and select Settings.

  2. In the General tab, locate Privacy Mode.

  3. Turn on the toggle for Privacy Mode.


How to Disable Privacy Mode

You can turn off Privacy Mode at any time. Click the Privacy Mode On banner to be taken directly to Settings, or navigate there manually using the steps below.

Disable Privacy Mode on the Web App

  1. Hover over the left panel and select Settings.

  2. In the General tab, turn off the toggle for Privacy Mode.

  3. Click Switch Off to confirm.
