Overview
In Simplifi, Investment Transactions are transaction records only. They help you track activity such as buys, sells, dividends, and transfers, but investment transactions do not calculate your holdings, account balance, or portfolio value.
Holdings drive Portfolio Value.
Investment Transactions provide transaction history.
Note: Looking to update account balances, holdings, or portfolio value? Investment Transactions won't do that. Please refer to the article: Tracking Investments in Quicken Simplifi.
Things to Note:
Investment transactions do not interact with your Investment Portfolio or account balances. These are designed to be a behind-the-scenes type of scenario without impacting your actual Portfolio Value. More details on using the Investments section can be found here.
Investment transactions will not impact the Balance Over Time feature or the Performance Over Time feature.
At this time, there are only certain investment transactions that can be included in reports, the Spending Plan, and Watchlists. Click here for more details!
