Overview

To ensure your expected Income, Recurring Bills, Subscriptions, and Planned Spend items are all accounted for in your Spending Plan, Quicken Simplifi will alert you of any unresolved items from the prior month. This could be something like a transaction not being linked to a Recurring Reminder or unused Planned Spend funds. Learn how to resolve these items below!

Note: With our Rollover feature, you will not be able to release funds from Planned Spend Series that have Rollover enabled.

Why resolve outstanding items?

Completing these actions allows you to compare how you did in a month versus what you had planned to spend that month.

Have you released any unused funds in your Planned Spend events?

If you show that you have unused funds in one of your Planned Spend series, you should release the remaining unused funds back to your available spending so you’ll have an accurate amount of how your month ended, which allows you to allocate those unused funds to other financial goals.

Once all outstanding items have been resolved in the Spending Plan for a prior month, Quicken Simplifi will give you an accurate "left this month" total.
