Accidentally made a change in Quicken Simplifi, and wondering if you can undo it? While Simplifi doesn’t offer a universal undo function, certain actions—like editing or deleting a transaction—may trigger a temporary Undo prompt. You’ll learn how to recognize this prompt, what it allows you to reverse, and how to manually correct changes if the prompt is no longer visible.


How to Undo

Note: The Undo prompt only appears for a few seconds, so you'll need to be quick if you want to undo something.

When you see the Undo prompt displayed in Quicken Simplifi, selecting it undoes the change you just made, and the prompt shows which action you’re undoing. Once the prompt disappears, the change can no longer be undone.

If you end up missing the Undo prompt in Quicken Simplifi, no need to worry! You can manually undo whatever change was made by editing or recreating the affected item.
