Overview
At Quicken Simplifi, we aim to keep things simple. The app connects directly to your bank to download transactions automatically—no need to sign in to your bank’s website or import them manually.
How Does This Work?
You’ll be asked to enter the same login credentials you use for your bank’s website to connect your accounts.
Note: All accounts from the same bank can be added if they use the same login information.
We use a one-way connection, which means data is imported into Quicken Simplifi, but it cannot make changes to your transactions or balances.
Data access and retrieval are automated through nightly updates. During these updates, our aggregation partner securely logs in to your bank on your behalf—typically once a day and outside of business hours. Because of this, you may notice login activity on your bank’s website overnight.
Your login credentials are encrypted and securely stored by our aggregation partner, which helps speed up updates.
Your financial data is stored on Quicken-hosted servers, allowing for a more complete transaction history than what’s typically available through your bank.
Both Quicken Simplifi and our aggregation partner use advanced security measures to protect your login credentials and financial data.
