Why Do I See a Charge from Quicken for $1.00?

You may see a $1.00 charge and a $1.00 refund from Quicken on your credit card. This is a temporary charge to verify your card for your Quicken Simplifi subscription renewal. It usually happens within 15 days of your renewal date.

Quicken Simplifi places a temporary $1.00 pre-authorization to ensure your credit card is current so your subscription can renew smoothly.

You don’t need to do anything. The charge will be refunded automatically, usually within about five days.

To manage your Quicken subscription or view your next renewal date, sign in to your My Account page, select Subscriptions, then click Manage Subscription in the Simplifi section.

To update the payment method for your subscription, select Payments in the My Account list, then click Update Payment.
