How to Cancel and get a Refund for Quicken Simplifi?

Learn how to cancel your Quicken Simplifi subscription and request a refund.

The steps to cancel your Quicken Simplifi subscription vary depending on where you originally signed up. Please select the appropriate option below for the correct instructions.


Cancel vs. Refund

Canceling your subscription turns off auto-renewal and allows you to keep access to Quicken Simplifi until the end of your billing period. If a refund is issued, your access will end immediately, and your payment will be refunded in full.


Request a Refund

Refunding Quicken Simplifi will immediately cancel your subscription, and you will lose access to your data and profile.

Note: Refund requests must be made within 30 days of purchasing a Quicken Simplifi subscription.

If you purchased your subscription directly through Quicken Simplifi or from a retailer such as Amazon, Staples, or Best Buy, and are within 30 days of purchase, you can submit the Refund Form or contact Simplifi Support.

If you purchased your annual subscription through the Google Play Store or Apple App Store, you would need to request a refund directly through the app store where the purchase was made. Select the appropriate option below:

Note: Refunds by Google Play and the Apple App Store are at the discretion of Google and Apple, not Quicken Simplifi.


How to Cancel

Canceling your Quicken Simplifi subscription will stop automatic renewal, but you will continue to have access to your data and profile until your subscription expires. Follow the steps below to turn off auto-renewal.

If you signed up directly through the Quicken Simplifi website:

  1. Go to quicken.com/my-account and sign in.
    Note: Canadian users can access their My Account by going to quicken.com/canada/my-account.

  2. Under Subscriptions, select Manage.

  3. Under the Quicken Simplifi subscription, click Manage Subscription.

  4. Click Cancel Renewal.

  5. Complete cancellation by selecting Cancel renewal.

  6. Once canceled, you'll see a “Renewal Canceled” message.

Note: If you do not see the Cancel Renewal option, your subscription was purchased through your device’s app store. See the instructions below to cancel through Google Play or the Apple App Store.

If you signed up through the Apple App Store on your iPhone:

  1. Open the Settings app on your device. 

  2. Tap your name, then tap Subscriptions

  3. Next, tap the subscription you want to manage. 

  4. Tap Cancel Subscription. If you don't see Cancel Subscription, the subscription is already canceled and won't renew.

Note: If you don't see Subscriptions in the Settings app, tap iTunes & App Store instead. Tap your Apple ID, then tap View Apple ID. Sign in, scroll down, and tap Subscriptions.

If you signed up through the Google Play Store on your phone:

  1. First, open the Google Play Store App on your device.

  2. Make sure you're signed in to the correct Google account (the one with the subscription).

  3. Tap Menu, then Payments & Subscriptions.

  4. Select Subscriptions.

  5. Select the subscription you want to cancel.

  6. Tap Cancel subscription.

  7. Follow the instructions.

Note: If you do not see your subscription, make sure you are signed in to the correct Google account.
