Overview
The Spending Dashboard makes it easier to understand how you're spending your money. From the Spending section in the Navigation Menu, you can view your spending trends, compare spending across different time periods, and explore the details behind your spending.
Note: This feature is currently available only to users with Early Access enabled.
Spending Feature Attributes
The Spending feature includes the following attributes and views:
Track spending over time:
Displays spending across preset time ranges, including Month, Quarter, and Year.
Shows spending trends:
The chart at the top helps you compare your spending across different years and time periods.
Provides a financial summary:
The dashboard shows Income, Total spent, and Remaining.
It also displays your Savings Rate and lets you switch to view your Spending Rate.
Compares spending periods:
You can compare your current spending with a previous period, such as the previous month, or select Don’t Compare to view your spending without a comparison.
Explore your spending:
See how much you spent and explore your spending details using Categories, Payees, or Tags. Select the option that best fits how you want to understand where your money was spent.
Visualize your spending:
Explore your spending with easy-to-understand bar charts, pie charts, heat maps, and Sankey diagrams.
Explore your transactions:
Drill down directly from charts and other views to see the transaction details behind your spending.
Sort by account:
Choose an account to narrow your results and focus on the finances that matter most.
Note: You can review uncategorized transactions directly from the Spending Dashboard. Please note that transactions marked as “Exclude from reports” are not included in this feature.
