Overview

The Mileage Tracker for Quicken Business & Personal makes it super easy to track your mileage for both business and personal purposes. This can help you stay prepared for tax time!

How Does It Work?

  • There are two methods for logging miles:

    • Trip details: Log individual trips by entering the start and end locations and the distance traveled.

    • Miles only: Enter your total miles driven in one simple step — perfect if you’ve been tracking miles elsewhere.

  • Once miles have been logged, you will be able to see a list of all entries, along with a running total at the top.

  • You will also be able to see the total distance for all of your trips.

  • You will see totals per business or for personal.

  • The totals are calculated using the current IRS mileage rate.

  • You can filter by business or personal to focus on the miles that matter.

  • You can use the time period filter to focus on specific time ranges.
