Overview
Need to update your account details in Simplifi? Quicken Simplifi strives to keep things as easy and customizable as possible. We can help you easily:
Rename your bank accounts to something more recognizable or personal.
Change the account type (e.g., Checking, Savings, Credit Card) to better reflect how you use it.
Edit the financial institution name if it was imported incorrectly or you'd prefer a custom label.
Edit Account Details (Name & Type)
Hover over the left panel and click on the Settings icon.
Select Accounts.
Locate the account you'd like to edit and click the three-dot menu at the end of it.
Select Edit account.
Change the account name and/or account type.
Click Update when done.
Note: Investment Accounts cannot be changed to any other account type besides other Investment types.
Edit Your Account Name from The Account Directly:
Hover over the left panel and click Transactions.
Select the account you'd like to edit.
Hover over the account name in the upper left and click it.
Type in the new account name and hit Enter when done.
Edit Financial Institution Name
Hover over the left panel and click the Settings icon.
Select Accounts.
Locate the financial institution you'd like to edit and click the three-dot menu at the end of it.
Select Edit institution.
Enter the desired Name.
Click Update when done.
