Managing Existing Estimates in the Quicken Business & Personal Mobile App

There may be times when you need to revisit an estimate after it has been created. Whether you're adjusting a due date, correcting pricing details, or doing similar work, Quicken Business & Personal provides tools to help you manage existing estimates.

This article explains how to manage estimates after they've been created and sent.

Generate Invoices from Estimates

You can easily generate an Invoice from an Estimate, making it easier than ever to invoice your clients.

  1. Tap the Menu (three-line icon).

  2. Tap Sales & Billing, then select Estimates.

  3. Locate the Estimate you want to use to generate an Invoice and tap it.

  4. Select Generate Invoice.


Edit an Estimate

Whether you need to update dates, adjust items, or fix a client detail, Quicken Business & Personal makes it easy to edit your invoice so everything stays accurate.

  1. Tap the Menu (three-line icon).

  2. Tap Sales & Billing, then select Estimates.

  3. Locate the estimate you want to edit and tap on it.

  4. Select View Estimate.

  5. Tap the blue Edit tab on the right.

  6. Make the desired changes to the estimate.

  7. Tap Update at the bottom.

Note: If you make changes to a previously sent estimate, you might want to resend it.


Delete an Estimate

To delete an Estimate, follow the steps below.

  1. Tap the Menu (three-line icon).

  2. Tap Sales & Billing, then select Estimates.

  3. Locate the estimate you want to delete and tap it.

  4. Select Delete Estimate.

  5. Tap Delete to confirm.


Duplicate an Estimate

By duplicating an estimate, you can easily generate a new one that retains the same business, client, or project, items, and total, simply with the click of a button!

  1. Tap the Menu (three-line icon).

  2. Tap Sales & Billing, then select Estimates.

  3. Locate the Estimate you want to duplicate and tap on it.

  4. Tap Duplicate estimate.

  5. Confirm the information and make any edits as needed.

  6. Tap Update at the bottom to save the Estimate, or Send To... to send the corrected Estimate to the client.
